Frequently Asked Questions
Is therapy completely virtual?
Yes. Sol Recovery is a fully virtual therapy practice. All sessions are provided through secure video appointments, so you can attend therapy from a private space that works for you. You must be physically located in a state where I’m authorized to practice at the time of your appointment.
What states do you provide therapy in?
I provide online therapy to adults located in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and Florida. Because licensing requirements vary by state, your physical location during each session matters.
Who do you work with?
I work with adults ages 18 and older in individual therapy. I do not provide couples, family, or child therapy.
What do you specialize in?
My primary areas of focus are trauma and PTSD, bipolar disorder, and chronic suicidal thoughts and emotional distress.
I also work with adults experiencing anxiety, depression, and obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). You don’t need to have a specific diagnosis to reach out.
Do you accept insurance?
Yes. I accept insurance, although the plans I’m in-network with vary by state. Select plans are available in New Mexico, Arizona, Texas, and Florida.
Because participation can also vary by individual plan, I recommend verifying your coverage before scheduling. You can contact me with your insurance information, and I can help determine whether your plan is accepted.
Do you offer a consultation before I schedule?
Yes. I offer a free 15-minute consultation so we can briefly discuss what you’re looking for, answer questions, and determine whether working together seems like a good fit.
There’s no obligation to schedule therapy afterward.
